Raising Dollars to Give Away

The Northeast Lions are involved in many fund-raising activities. Bowling, Pot O’ Gold, Golf, Nuts. But our primary means of raising dollars to put back into the community has been our Charitable Gambling business.
Our Club operates five sites with pull-tabs, meat raffles, bingo, and more.

Charitable Gambling Operations
The Northeat Lions operate charitable gambling at five sites under State License No. 02677.
The proceeds from our gambling operations go to benefit the community where gambling is conducted.

Frtiz Lynch Bowling Tournament
Normally held around the end of January, our Club’s annual bowling tournament fund-raiser is a blast!
It is named in honor of Frtiz Lynch. We should be able to come up with a parapgraph about why we’re honoring Fritz.
Matson-Meehan Golf Tournament
Each summer the Northeast Lions host a golf tournament fund-raiser. The event is named in honor of two guys we used to know.
Holiday Nut Sale Fundraiser
NUTS ARE SOLD OUT!
Thanks to everyone who made this year’s Holiday Nut Sale a record-breaking success.
It’s that time of year, and the Lions are ready to help you say “Thank You” to clients and employees. Or “Merry Christmas” to friends and family. And these nuts are so fresh and tasty, you’ll probably want to keep some for yourself.
Our nuts are of superior quality, packaged in 1-pound decorative tins.
You can choose from jumbo cashews, mixed nuts, or chocolate-covered almonds.
We’ve held the price the same as last year:
$10 per tin.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will be distributed to local charities like:
- Eastside Neighborhood Services
- Catholic Eldercare
- The Northeast YMCA
- The Minnesota Eye Bank
- NE Dinner Bell — Meals on Wheels
- and more!
